The government has banned 59 Chinese apps, including the popular Chinese app Tiktok. This is considered a matter of privacy protection from the Chinese app.

The government has banned 59 Chinese apps, including the popular Chinese app Tiktok. This is considered a matter of privacy protection from the Chinese app. Other popular apps that Ben has encountered besides Tiktok include 59 apps, including ShareChat, Hello, UC Browser, Like, and WeChat.

As per the order from the government, the government has banned 59 mobile apps that were biased for India's sovereignty and integrity, India's defense, state security, and public order.

Under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, the Ministry of Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access to Information by Public) Rules 2009 enforcing the provisions of the Information Technology Act and 59 apps have been banned in view of the contingency nature of the threat.

These apps are sending data on a large scale outside India. The list of mobile applications sent to the government by the security agency includes applications like Zoom, TikiTalk, UC Browser, Xander, Share It, and CleanMaster.

A senior central government official said the proposal, made by intelligence agencies, was also supported by the National Security Council, which believed the applications could pose a threat to India's security.

In April this year, the Home Ministry advised the use of Zoom. The ministry issued the advisory on the proposal of the National Cyber ​​Security Agency Computer Emergency Response Team India (CERT-IN). The government is not the first country to ban the use of the Zoom app.

Earlier, Taiwan also banned government agencies from using the Zoom app. Germany and the United States have done the same. The company responded to the Home Ministry's advice and said it was serious about protecting users.

7. CoWPAtty

CoWPAtty is another nice wireless password cracking tool. It is an automated dictionary attack tool for WPA-PSK to crack the passwords. It runs on Linux OS and offers a less interesting command-line interface to work with. It runs on a word-list containing thousands of passwords to use in the attack. If the password is in the password’s word-list, this tool will surely crack the password. But this tool is slow and speed depends on the word list and password’s strength. Another reason for the slow process is that the hash uses SHA1 with a seed of SSID. It means the same password will have a different SSIM. So, you cannot simply use the rainbow table against all access points. So, the tool uses the password dictionary and generates the hash for each word contained in the dictionary by using the SSID. This tool is simple to use with available commands.

With the newer version of the tool, CoWPAtty tried to improve the speed by using a pre-computed hash file to avoid the computation at the time of cracking. This pre-computed file contains around 172000 dictionary files for around 1000 most popular SSIDs. But for a successful attack, your SSID must be on that list. If your SSID is not in those 1000, you are unlucky. Still, you can try this tool to see how it works.

Air jack is a Wi-Fi 802.11 packet injection tool. It is used to perform a DOS attack and a MIM attack. This wireless cracking tool is very useful in injecting forged packets and making a network down by denial of service attack. This tool can also be used for a man in the middle attack in the network. 9. WepAttack

WepAttack is another working open-source Linux tool for breaking 802.11 WEP keys. Like a few other tools in the list, this tool also performs an active dictionary attack. It tests millions of words from its dictionary to find the working key for the network. Only a working WLAN card is required to work with WepAttack to perform the attack. Limited usability but works awesome on supported WLAN cards.

NetStumbler is another wireless password cracking tool available only for the Windows platform. It helps in finding open wireless access points. This tool is freely available. Basically, NetStumbler is used for wardriving, verifying network configurations, finding locations with a poor network, detecting unauthorized access points, and more.

This tool is not very effective now. The main reason is that the last stable release of the tool was back in April 2004 around 11 years ago. So, it does not work with 64-bit Windows OS. It can also be easily detected with most of the wireless intrusion detection systems available. So, you can use this tool for learning purposes on the home network to see how it works.

A trimmed-down version dubbed as ‘MiniStumbler’ of the tool is also available. This tool is too old but it still works fine on supported systems. So, I included it in this list.

Requirements

• Xposed Installer Alpha
• Custom Recovery Installed CWM Or TWRP – Google (How to install CWM/TWRP in [Device name] )
• Xposed installer .zip file – Download from below
• Make a system Backup

 Install Xposed Framework On Android 6.0 and 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Step 1: Firstly download the hardware info application from here – Download

• After that now open the application which you have downloaded it from play store
• Now click on the processor tab and you will see information like given below which will be havingARMv7, ARM64, or x86. Like given in below screenshot

Step 2: This setting differs in every mobile so check that setting and now download the below files if you are having the same processor as above

• Xposed Framework for ARMv7 Marshmallow devices
• Xposed Framework for ARM64 Marshmallow devices
• Xposed Framework for x86 Marshmallow devices

After downloading the above files grab this application and install it on your mobile phone

• Xposed Installer app for all Marshmallow devices

step 3: Now after downloading those above files switch off your device and wait till it completely shut down and now press Volume up + Volume Down + Power On. if you are using other mobile phones such as Nexus devices or any other devices same as nexus interface. If Samsung clicks on Volume Up + Power Button + Home Key

• In Samsung mobile phone the custom recovery will be opened and in Nexus mobile phone you might get the bootloader screen as given below

• Now click on Volume Down Button twice and click on Recovery mode like given in the screenshot below. Now press Power Button your mobile will be rebooted in recovery mode only if you have installed the recovery on your mobile phone.

• Now if you are using TWRP Recovery which is one of my favorite recoveries, and there you will see Install button like given in the screenshot below

• After swiping it this method will take approximately 5 minutes, so keep calm it will be finished within 2 minutes but 5 Minutes are approx.
• If you get some issues while installing the files then it might be because you have downloaded the wrong files

• After that now reboot your device and it may take some minutes to complete the process

Step 4: Now install the application of Xposed installer in your device and click on Install and Reboot Your Device

• Now you are all set to download the modules and do all the customization on your Android device
