Government will spend 16000 crores for healthcare, recruitment of 10,000 medical staff in this state

 The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to hire around 10,000 health care workers in the state. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy approved the proposal during the cabinet meeting that now 9,712 personnel will be appointed in the Medical and Health Department in the state, which includes doctors, nurses, technicians and other posts.

 The decision taken by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the prevention of corona virus is being welcomed. The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to hire around 10,000 health care workers in the state. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy approved the proposal during the cabinet meeting that now 9,712 personnel will be appointed in the Medical and Health Department in the state, which includes doctors, nurses, technicians and other posts.

 The state government has also expanded the pilot project. Under this, more than 1,000 rupees on medical expenses have been included in the scope of Arogyasri. It will be implemented from July 16 in six more districts.  Apart from this, 1059 diseases were treated in Arogyasri, now the number has been increased to 2,200. Special cancer care services were also included in this.

 The scheme is now being implemented in these six districts - Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Gunturu, Prakasam, YSR Kadapa and Kurnool. The state government said, from June 2019, Rs 1815 crore was spent for the Arayagashree scheme and Rs 315 crore was spent on the Employee Health Scheme
 At the same time, the Andhra Pradesh government has also approved the process of delimitation of districts at the parliamentary constituency level. A committee was formed for the new districts under the leadership of the Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh government.  Now the committee will study on creating new districts. Minister Perni Venkataramayya said that the committee will submit its report to the existing 13 districts with minimum expenditure of 25 or more at the earliest.

 Key things said by the Chief Minister -

 - 16 new educational hospitals will be set up by the government, which will increase the number of hospitals to 27.

 Rs 16,000 crore allocated for the improvement of healthcare services.

 After the discharge of the patients under the YSR Asara scheme, they will get Rs 225/500 per day.

 13000 YSR Visage Clinics will be set up to decentralize public health care in the state, which will create a strong network up to grassroots level.

 - The CM instructed the officials to expedite all the Arogyashree Bills through the Green Channel.
