According to sources, the Gujarat government had to take an affidavit in the Supreme Court that the system has been introduced in Gujarat as per the Centre's guidelines, but on Monday the Center had instructed that the limit should be reduced to 50 as the state of transition is critical. The government will now file an affidavit in the Supreme Court informing of the change of rule.

According to which, planning was done not to allow the planning of weddings in the area of containment and in the area of 100 meters around it. The decision was made only after getting approval from the local police station and also by certifying the list of guests to the police, but now it has to be changed.

The government came up with a practical solution

On Monday, the Center had instructed the state government to reduce the number of guests for the wedding to 50 but allowed 100 guests to attend as a practical solution so that people would not feel uncomfortable and those whose wedding was planned would not get in trouble.
