Maharashtra
Maharashtra has announced a seven-hour night curfew from December 22 to January 5. New Year’s celebrations begin at 12 p.m. No midnight party has been sanctioned in Maharashtra this year.
Tamil Nadu
On 31st December 2020 and 1st January 2021, the gathering of people along the coast along with restaurants, clubs, pubs, resorts, beach resorts has been banned in Tamil Nadu. No night curfew has been imposed in Tamil Nadu.
Karnataka
The Karnataka government has decided to impose a night curfew in the state. The curfew will be in effect from today until January 2. There will be a curfew from 10 pm to 6 am. The government has made it mandatory for tourists coming to the state from Britain, Denmark, and the Netherlands to stay in quarantine for 14 days after a new strain of corona was found.
Rajasthan
The Rajasthan government has banned New Year's Eve celebrations and public gatherings. CM Ashok Gehlot said people should celebrate New Year with family at their home. Crowding should be avoided.
