A high level meeting was held today under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister to discuss the standard 12 examinations. In which, as decided, standard 12 examinations will be taken by Gujarat Secondary Education Board according to the existing system. Science and general stream exams will start from July 1. 6 lakh 83 thousand students from Gujarat will appear for the exam. There will be multiple choice and part three hour exam. At the same time, examinations will be held in strict compliance with the Corona Transition Control Guidelines S.O.P. Also, the examination for repeater students of standard 10 will be taken in the same manner.
According to the established system of every year, a three-hour examination will be held in Science Stream Part-I with 50 marks multiple choice MCQ OMR method and in Part-II, 50 marks in descriptive written form.
A descriptive written examination of 100 marks will be taken as per the system established in general stream
Students should have an examination center near their school - more examination centers will be started so that students do not have to travel long distances during the Koro period.
For students who are absent from the examination due to corona-related or other unavoidable reasons, the examination will be held with new question papers of all subjects and a new time after the first day of the original examination.
A maximum of 20 candidates will appear for the examination in a classroom to prevent the spread of corona among the students.
Arrangements including social distance, mandatory mask as well as thermal gun sanitizer will be ensured.
Examination centers will be increased
The number of examination centers in the state will be increased this year. In which talukas the sufficient number of students will be available and if there is no examination center in such taluka then examination center will be started there. Arrangements will be made for a maximum of 20 students to sit in each examination room for both science stream and general stream examinations. Not only that, the examination centers have been provided with CCTV. Will be equipped with a camera.

Re-examination for coronary students
In this high level meeting, keeping in view the future of the students, it has been decided that the students who were absent due to the transition of corona in the examination or the students who are absent due to corona related or other unavoidable reasons during the examination will appear in the original examination i.e. starting from 1/4/201. After Rup Day, all subjects will be re-examined based on the new timetable and new question paper.

Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that if the students of Koro cannot appear for the examination within the stipulated time, their examination will be held after 25 days. Examination of repeater students of standard 10 will also be taken on 1st July from this date. He said about the new academic session, the government will issue new guidelines in two three days regarding the new academic session in schools. Everything from the fee standard to admission and school management will be included in the new guideline. The government has no decision to refund the examination fees to the standard 10 students.
