 Mini lockdown unlocked: Public Ganeshotsav exemption in Gujarat with 4 feet statue, 400 people can attend the wedding, 1-hour relief in night curfew to 8 cities


Relief from night curfew in the metropolis from July 31 to 8

The wedding will now be attended by not 200 but 400 people


As the second wave of Corona has come to an end in the state, one restriction after another is being lifted by the government. Under which the state government has taken many important decisions today. 8 The city has been given a 1-hour respite from the night curfew, while also celebrating Ganeshotsav. In addition, the wedding will now be attended by 400 people instead of 200 and hotels and restaurants in these 8 metros will be open till 10 pm.


The 8 metropolia will now throb until 11 p.m.

Some important decisions have been taken in the core committee chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Bhai Rupani. According to the decision, the night curfew in 8 metros in the state has been reduced to 1 hour from July 31. This means that the implementation of night curfew in these 8 metros is currently from 10 pm to 6 am, it will be from 11 pm to 6 am from July 31.


Limit of 50 percent of the seating capacity in a wedding held in a closed hall

The current limit of 200 persons for holding public ceremonies in open spaces in the state has been increased from July 31 to 400 persons. If such events are to be held in a closed hall, such events shall be held within the limits of 50 percent of the total seating capacity but with a maximum of 400 persons and in full compliance with the rules of transit control of cores.


Ganeshotsav can be held with a maximum of 4 feet Ganesha statue

A decision has been taken in the core committee meeting today to allow a maximum of 4 feet Ganesha statue to be kept in the public Ganeshotsav in the upcoming Ganeshotsav across the state.


The required service/activities will continue without any control


The service directly associated with the operation of COVID-19 as well as the services associated with the essential/immediate service will continue.

Medical, paramedical, and ancillary health services.

Oxygen production and distribution system.

Dairy, Milk-Vegetable, Fruit Production, Distribution, and Sales and Home Delivery Service.

The vegetable market and fruits market will continue.

Grocery, bakery, sale of all kinds of food items and all online services for selling.

Cereal and spice grinding bell.

Household tiffin services and take away facility services from hotels/restaurants.

Internet / Telephone / Mobile Service Provider / IT And IT. Related services.

Print and electronic media, newspaper distribution.

Petrol, Diesel, LPG / CNG / PNG Related Pumps, Operation of Production Unit, Port of Loading, Terminal Deposits, Plants and Related Transportation, Distribution and Repairing Services .

Post and courier service.

Private Security Service

Services related to animal feed, fodder and animal medicine and treatment.

Production, transportation, and supply management of agricultural operations, pest control and other essential services.

Interstate, inter-district and inter-city transport services and related e-commerce services.

All types of manufacturing / industrial units and raw material supplying units will continue and transportation for their staff will continue. In the meantime, the guidelines regarding COVID-19 must be strictly followed.
