Subject: Matter of providing internet through Fiber to the Home (FTTH) connection to government schools in Gram Panchayat area covered under the BharatNet program.
Under the BharatNet project, FTTH has been entrusted with the task of providing internet connectivity to government institutions, including schools. Under this project, internet connections will be provided to government schools through internet connectivity working in the respective gram panchayats.
Under this project internet connectivity in FTTH Bharat Government schools from the concerned Gram Panchayat. The State Project Director, Gujarat School Education Council, has been appointed as the nodal officer for the entire education at the state level.
The District MIS Coordinator will have to be appointed as the nodal person at the district level for the necessary coordination, monitoring, and implementation of the operations related to internet connectivity provided to government schools for the above functions. Under BharatNet Project (Phase-I), 14 districts of Gujarat State covered in Annexure-A have been covered. Currently, paired internet connectivity will be provided to government schools coming under these gram panchayats where BharatNet connection is operational.
Then, as more and more gram panchayats join under the BharatNet project, internet connectivity will be provided to government schools in those panchayat areas which should be noted. In order to carry out the following activities through the District MIS Coordinator, you will need to make the necessary orders and reviews from your level:
1. Government schools and M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. Stay in touch to coordinate the necessary operations.
2. M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. at school level for implementation of the said project. Provide instruction and guidance on necessary cooperation.
3. M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. The required school level in coordination with will provide guidance on how to provide all the required documents (as per Annexure-B) along with all the required details of the school in the application form.
4. M / s from school level to get connectivity. M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. No. The authorized employee will have to see to it that other required documents are submitted along with the application form.
5. After providing other required documents along with the application form, M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. Will start the process of providing internet connectivity to such schools.
6.School M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. Will have to ensure adequate space and power supply for the required equipment. It is therefore imperative that schools complete this process expeditiously in order to gain connectivity. Will have to give notice.
7. M / s CSC eGovernance India Services Ltd. Internet connectivity will be provided to these schools for the first 1 year without any cost.
8. To report the progress report under this project to the office from time to time. For more information on any problem or form filling related to this operation. M / s CSC e-Governance

1. The application form is free of cost. The form may be filled up in capital letters only.
2. Subject to the acceptance of the application and technical feasibility CSC will endeavor to provide the Internet Service as soon as possible
3. The contract with CSC for the provision of Internet Service will be for a minimum period from the date of commencement (depending upon the plan chosen) in accordance with the tariff plan opted.
4. The data rates shown as down streams or upstream is applicable only to the last mile. However, CSC does not hold responsibility for lesser downloads or upload data rates caused by the accessed website status or the international gateway or the media.
5. Users will be able to connect only one computer Mobile Device with one login credential. In the case of business users, it would be possible to connect more than one computer depending on the plan opted for.
6. The subscriber is required to fully comply with the provisions of the Indian Telegraph Act 1885, Indian Telegraph Rules, and the Information Technology Act 2000 made thereunder and any amendments or replacements made thereto from time to time.
1. CSC reserves the right to disconnect the service to any customer in case there is sufficient evidence of the customer intentionally or unintentionally using the service in a manner that would adversely impact CSC or CSC's Network.
2. The customer shall be responsible for using the service only for Legal and appropriate purposes
3. CSC reserves the right to terminate the services in the event of non - payment of bills preferred by CSC in accordance with the tariff plans opted by the customer and the extent of usage or any default on the part of customers.
1. CSC will exercise all reasonable care in providing its services, but it is not responsible for interruption/service due to power failures, equipment malfunctions, or acts of natural calamity.
2. CSC is not responsible for subscriber's computer hardware and software or areas of the Internet not under its control. CSC does not warrant the privacy, security, or efficiency of the Internet.
3. CSC is not responsible for actions taken by its customers or others as a result of its services.
4. CSC is not responsible for material any person (including household members of the subscriber) may receive or transmit via the Internet, or for anything bought or sold via the Internet, ar for any other result of any action taken by anyone using its service.
5. Internet connection will be provided subject to technical feasibility. CSC will not be held responsible in case service is denied on this ground.
6. CSC will not be responsible for non - use of prepaid Internet Connection.
