Regarding the above subject, it is to be politely stated that on 07/09/2020, a review meeting was held by the Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety to discuss the work on road safety, in which deaths due to not wearing helmets and serious injuries in road accidents occur in the state.


  A significant increase has been observed.  As per the instruction given today on 08/09/2020 under the Crime Conference of the Director-General of Police and Chief Police Officers to reduce the number of road accidents as well as to ensure proper implementation of traffic regulation.  It has been ordered to keep a drive on cases of habeat violations from 09/09/2050 to 20/09/2020.  


So, everyone will have to make a maximum number of cases of helped violation during this period.  As the work done by the cities and districts is to be reviewed, the report of the work done on a daily basis is given in the form as per the following form.

The head of Gandhinagar State Traffic Branch has ordered to conduct a special traffic drive for 10 days from today till September 20 for strict compliance of helmet wearing law in the state of Gujarat.

In Ahmedabad, people who did not wear helmets were fined by the traffic police since this morning. A fine of Rs 500 was levied for not wearing a helmet.

 Traffic police operations were launched on all four roads. Regarding helmet drive, state DGP Ashish Bhatia said, "Drive has been started on the highway now, but there is no ban on anyone wearing helmets in the city." Helmets can also be fined by the police in the city.

If you do not have documents like license, insurance, and PUC, you will be fined Rs.500 for the first time and Rs.1000 for the second time. 

A fine of Rs.500 for the first time and Rs.1000 for the second time for applying black film on the glass and Rs.500 for the first time and Rs.1000 for the second time for using a mobile on a moving vehicle will be levied. A fine of Rs.500 for the first time and Rs.1000 for the second time will be levied for obstructive parking.

From September 16, the new amendment will impose rules on motorists, allow them to show digital documents, the crackdown on speeding bikes on the road, impose fines of up to Rs 3,000 on both owner and driver for driving without a license, up to Rs 5,000 for racing in public for the first time. And the second fine of Rs.10,000

A penalty of Rs.500 for not wearing a helmet, Rs.500 for not having RC book and insurance, Rs.1000 for second-time arrest.

A fine of Rs 500 for not wearing a seat belt, no penalty for triple riding on a bike, but only two people traveling in a vehicle if possible.
