That means 18% GST will be levied on parathas in hotel restaurants from now on. The Gujarat Appellate Authority has dismissed the petition challenging the GAAAR order by the paratha traders.

Parathas are not simple breads: GAAAR

According to GAAAR, parathas are not simple breads. Hence 18% GST will be levied on paratha . Paratha is different from plain roti or plain roti. Paratha cannot be classified as a plain roti. Paratha and roti cannot be compared.' Importantly, the petitioner raised an objection regarding the 18% GST on parathas . The petitioner termed paratha as roti and demanded lower GST rate.

The companies involved in this industry then say that wheat flour is the basic material for making both, so the same GST should be applied to it. Vadilal Industries also said that they make 8 types of parathas . In which mainly flour is used. Malabar paratha has 62 percent flour content and mixed vegetable paratha has 36 percent.

But Gujarat GST Authority said that rotli is ready to eat, while paratha is ready to cook. The tax authorities clearly say that paratha is completely different from roti. You can eat roti without butter or ghee, but parathas are not made without it. Since Ghee Chopdeli Rotli or Paratha falls in a separate category, it is imperative to tax it at the rate of 18 percent.

There is a similar difference between milk and flavored milk

Similar to rotis and parathas, the GST controversy is over milk and flavored or flavored milk. The GST authorities of Gujarat have levied 12 percent GST on flavored milk, while no tax has been levied on milk.

Magrip N Cold Syrup નો ઉપયોગ સ્વાસ્થ્ય માટે હાનિકારક હોઈ શકે છે. આ દવાઓમાં ડાયેથિલિન ગ્લાયકોલ અને ઇથિલિન ગ્લાયકોલનું પ્રમાણ વધુ હોવાનું જાણવા મળ્યું છે.

WHOએ કફની દવા વિશે આ વાત કહી

ડબ્લ્યુએચઓએ કહ્યું છે કે ડાયેથિલિન ગ્લાયકોલ (ડીઆઈજી) અથવા ઇથિલિન ગ્લાયકોલનું સેવન માનવ શરીર માટે ઝેરી બની શકે છે. દવા શરીરમાં રેનલ અને ન્યુરોલોજીકલ ઝેરનું કારણ બની શકે છે અને જ્યારે દવાઓ દ્વારા પીવામાં આવે છે ત્યારે મોટા પ્રમાણમાં ઝેરના ઘણા કિસ્સાઓ સાથે સંકળાયેલ છે.

કફ સિરપ ચેતવણી

વર્લ્ડ હેલ્થ ઓર્ગેનાઈઝેશને સલાહ આપી છે કે 2 વર્ષથી ઓછી ઉંમરના બાળકોને ખાંસી અને શરદીની દવા ન આપવી જોઈએ. ઓરલ ઓવર-ધ-કાઉન્ટર (OTC) ઉધરસ અને શરદીની દવાઓ નાના બાળકો માટે જીવલેણ બની શકે છે. વિશ્વ આરોગ્ય સંસ્થાએ કહ્યું છે કે દર વખતે દવાનો ઉપયોગ પણ સલામત નથી. બાળકોને વધુ ગંભીર આડઅસર થઈ શકે છે.

બાળકો માટે ઘરેલું ઉપાય અજમાવો

ડૉક્ટરના જણાવ્યા મુજબ, શરદી અને ઉધરસની સ્થિતિમાં બાળકો માટે માત્ર ઘરેલું ઉપચાર જ અજમાવવા જોઈએ. ઉદાહરણ તરીકે, શરદી અથવા ફ્લૂના કિસ્સામાં, બાળકોને વધુ આરામ કરવાની મંજૂરી આપવી જોઈએ. તમારે પુષ્કળ પાણી પીવું જોઈએ. પાણી, જ્યુસ અને સૂપ જેવા પ્રવાહી પીવો.
