British Scientists Discover New Blood Type! It is fatal for the unborn child, knowing this case will blow your mind

You may be aware of A, B, AB and O blood types by now, but scientists in the UK have discovered a new and rare blood type, which is particularly deadly for an unborn child.

By now you may know about A, B, AB and O blood groups found in humans. But now scientists have discovered a new blood group. Which is completely different from them. This new blood group is completely different from the normal blood group found in the human body. 

It was being searched for many years. But the correct answer was not found. This blood group and the content found in it leaves even scientists in awe.

By now you must know about A, B, AB and O blood groups which are deadly for the fetus . But British scientists have discovered a new and rare blood type that is said to be particularly deadly to an unborn child. 

Scientists from Britain's Bristol University and the National Health Survey Blood and Transplant have discovered a new blood group. Scientists say that many patients' lives will be saved after the identification of the new blood group.

New blood group is named – Er

Scientists have named the newly discovered blood group as Er and said that it is very rare. According to a report published in the journal Blood, they spent 30 years solving the mystery. Two cases of this blood group reached the scientists of the Bristol University. In both cases the women were pregnant and their babies died in the womb. 

When tested, it was found that the blood group of both was Er. After understanding both the cases, scientists came to the conclusion that the immune system goes out of control when the mother and baby have different blood types. 

Deadly for the unborn child

According to a report, if a pregnant woman's blood type is Er, her immune system starts making antibodies against the baby's blood. These antibodies reach the baby's body through the umbilical cord and cause hemolytic disease and attack the baby's red blood cells. 

In such condition they cannot live long. This rare blood group was discussed in a research 30 years ago. Now research will be conducted on how to save the life of the child in such pregnancies.
