The festive season has begun. If you are thinking of buying gold, India's largest merchant payment company BharatPe has launched digital gold on its platform. BharatPe has launched this new service in association with SafeGold. However, there is a digital platform that allows customers to buy, sell and deliver 24 carat physical gold at a 24 hour low ticket size.

According to BharatPe Pena, merchants can buy and sell 24.5 carat gold of 99.5 per cent purity anytime, anywhere with the BharatPe app. BharatPe Balance or UPI can be used for digital gold. BharatPe will also add credit / debit cards in more options.
Target to sell 6 kg gold by Diwali
BharatPe has set a target of selling 6 kg of gold by Diwali. Merchants will be able to see real-time prices of gold linked to global markets.
Gold purchases will also get the benefit of GST input credit. The merchant can also select the option of delivery of physical gold.
The amount received by the merchant to sell digital gold can be transferred directly to the BharatPe registered account or later to his own bank account.
200 grams of gold sold on the day of launch
According to BharatPe, the launch of digital gold on the platform will give merchants a full range of financial products. "We received a merchant request to launch Gold on the BharatPe platform," said Suhail Sameer, Group President, BharatPe.

The response has been good and 200 grams of gold has been sold on the day of launch. It has added new features. Our target is to establish digital gold in a major vertical form in the near future. The target is to sell 30 kg of gold in the financial year 2020-21.
