 Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has again denied the talk of lockdown in Gujarat. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has made it clear that the situation in the state is still tense. At present there is no need to bring curfew or lockdown in the state during the day. However, the Chief Minister added that if the case escalates, the government will take necessary steps in the interest of the people in the future.


Addressing the media after the Constitution Day celebrations, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said the government was not bringing curfew to its current stage during lockdown or day. There will be night curfew in only 4 metros in the state. The talk on social media is just a rumor. The Chief Minister said that the situation in Gujarat was stable at present and appealed to the people of Gujarat to maintain social distance and not to wear masks or crowds. The chief minister had ruled out the possibility of another lockdown in the state. He also added that in the future, decisions will be taken in the interest of the people.


The third phase trial of the vaccine being prepared by Bharat Biotech in Gujarat is starting from Ahmedabad. "This is just a trial and the central government has to distribute other vaccines first," he said. Which will have 4 phases.

Thus the citizens are also coming forward for the test. He appealed to the citizens of the state to be vigilant as the situation in the state gradually returns to normal.
