Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has made a big announcement about Corona testing. Corona testing cost has been reduced in Gujarat. According to which now the RTPCR test will cost Rs 800 for testing in a private laboratory and if you come home and test it will cost Rs 1100. This decision will be implemented from today. Earlier, the cost of conducting RT-PCR test in a private laboratory in the state was around Rs 1500-2000.

According to DCM Nitin Patel, the RTPCR test will benefit patients due to the reduced cost of the test. He also said about the increasing number of Koro cases in Gujarat that with the cooperation of all, we can control the case. He further said that complete arrangements have been made in the hospitals for the treatment of Corona patients in 6 days. Today Ahmedabad has got the facility of 400 new beds. At present patients also need more ventilators which is why 82 ventilators have been arranged by the Central Government.

Nitin Patel said that covid beds have been started at the new kidney hospital in Shahibaug. I have been instructed to visit and make a decision and act quickly. Everything is ready in 6 days. Ventilators were gifted in large quantities from PM Care. 150 multi-monitors have been installed. The 336 beds are connected to an oxygen pipe. 82 ICUs were set up. More than 400 beds have been made. NOC of fire has also been found. BU permission has also been obtained.


According to the DCM, 418 coro patients can be treated. There are 20 thousand liters of oxygen. There are 26 special doctors. There are 60 doctors, 126 nursing staff. All of these have been appointed from today. He said 56 of the 80 ventilators are housed here while others will be used elsewhere.
