The Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII) has entered into an agreement with British-Swedish pharma company AstraZeneca to manufacture a vaccine developed by Oxford University. Oxford University and AstraZeneca claim that their corona vaccine is 90 percent effective in final-stage tests.


23,950 new corona patients in the country

According to the Union Health Ministry, 23,950 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. Of these, 2,89,240 patients are currently undergoing treatment. While 96,63,382 patients have recovered. The total number of cases of the corona has now reached 1,00,99,066.
