If you get a call for registration of Corona vaccine, beware of giving Aadhar card number, otherwise ...
Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Branch has appealed to the public that corona vaccination is not registered on the phone so it is advisable not to give your banking, Aadhaar card, or other details when such phone calls are received
Dora-to-door contact is currently being registered to get vaccinated to fight corona. The municipal corporation's team is registering the names of citizens aged 50 years and above who are healthy or have other diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. However, fraudsters are now getting calls to register for the corona vaccine. If the call of Corona vaccine comes then Aadhaar card number is not to be given. This is because a gang of thugs can get an OTP after the Aadhaar card number and commit fraud.
So far, the case of cheating in the name of Corona vaccination registration has not reached the police. But this is how e-cheating can happen. So the Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Branch has appealed to the public that the corona vaccination is not registered on the phone, so it is advisable not to give your banking, Aadhaar card or other details when such a call comes. At the same time, cyber alerts are being issued through social media to create awareness among the citizens and some cyber NGOs are also alerting the citizens to avoid such diseases.
