The eGramSwaraj mobile application serves as a natural extension to the gram swaraj web portal (https://egramswaraj.gov.in/), which comes under the e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project (MMP) of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) Is one of the applications.
About National Panchayat Portal
The National Panchayat Portal (NPP) is one of the applications developed as part of the Panchayat Enterprise Suite (PES) under the e-Panchayat Mission Mode Project. It is designed as a multi-faceted front of local self-governments, providing seamless access to information and services provided by local bodies.
The NPP is being used to create and maintain a dynamic website for panchayats in the country which includes Zilla panchayats, intermediate panchayats, gram panchayats, and traditional local bodies. In addition, NPP creates a dynamic website for the State Panchayati Raj Departments and the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (PR). The URL of MoPR is http://panchayat.gov.in.
Each panchayat can configure its website using the URL of its choice and contribute content.
