Scholarship Scheme has been launched by the Government of India for the bright future of students engaged in science-related subjects in schools, colleges and universities. Under this scheme, fellowships are given to 11th and 12th standard and graduating students. The Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru manages the scheme. The scheme has been named as Adolescent Scientific Promotion Scheme. Under which fellowships are given to students working in the field of science, technology, and medicine.

Students will get 5 to 7 thousand rupees ‘Adolescent Scientific Promotion Scheme’ Fellowship has been proving to be very helpful for the students to make a career in the field of science for the last two years. Under this scheme students are given two different fellowships of Rs. 5 thousand and Rs. 7 thousand per month. Students will have to apply for a fellowship to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The scheme was launched by the Department of Science and Technology in the year 1999. The main objective of this scheme is to bring out the hidden talents in the field of science across the country and brighten the future of the country and its students. A high-level examination of this scheme is organized for the selection of students at the national level. In which the examination is typically conducted in two stages. The first stage is the online aptitude test and the second stage is the interview.
