Farmers' tools and godowns were also damaged

The Indian Farmers' Union has demanded the Gujarat government to pay aid to the farmers on the basis of war. According to the Indian Farmers Union, farmers have suffered extensive losses in summer crops like groundnut, mug, sesame, millet, and horticultural crops. Assistance is also paid for damage to farmers' mechanical equipment and godowns. For this, a letter was sent to the Chief Minister asking for help.

Losses to be paid to farmers - Kisan Sangh

The Kisan Sangh in Rajkot has risen to help the farmers in the wake of the hurricane. Kisan Sangh leader Dilip Sakhia said the hurricane had caused severe damage to sesame, mug, millet and horticultural crops, especially mangoes and coconuts. In this situation, the government has taken immediate steps to provide compensation to the farmers by conducting a survey. When PM Modi came to Saurashtra, the Kisan Sangh demanded that the state government submit a demand for compensation to the Central Government.
