The Ministry of Education has announced the list of teachers selected for the National Teacher Award-2021 this year. This year, a total of 44 teachers from across the country have been selected for the award. President Ramnath Kovind will present the award to each selected teacher on Teachers' Day on September 5. The teacher for the award is selected by the State Level Selection Committee and the Central Awards Committee.
Two teachers from Gujarat were selected
Among the teachers selected for this year's National Teacher Award 2021 are two teachers from Gujarat. Vanita Rathore from Rajkot and Ashok Kumar Parmar from Bhuj will get the award. In addition, teachers from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan are also involved. Among the award recipients this year are 9 female teachers.
