Modi Cabinet's decision: The entire education scheme 2.0 has been approved, government schools will also have playschools
A number of important decisions have been taken in the Modi cabinet meeting on Wednesday. In which it has been decided to implement full education scheme 2.0 and extend the tenure of special fast track court organized by the center for two more years. The entire education scheme 2.0 will be applicable from April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2026, at a cost of Rs 2.94 lakh crore. The Education Minister said that under the National Education Policy, Play School, as well as Anganwadi, will be formalized in the entire Education Plan 2.0.
Teachers will be prepared accordingly. Under it, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that the fast track court has also extended the duration of the scheme planned by the Center for two more years.
15 crore children from 11.60 lakh schools will get benefits
It will cover 11.6 lakh government and government-aided schools, 15.6 crore children, and 57 lakh teachers. Under the scheme, kindergartens, smart classrooms, trained teachers will be provided in schools in a phased manner over the next few years, and basic facilities, vocational education, and creative teaching methods will be developed in phases, with an emphasis on a conducive environment.
The Education Minister said that the overall education plan has been enhanced keeping in view the sustainable development goals of education, adding that universal education is also a part of the national education policy and plan. The Minister said that for the first time the safety of children has been included in the entire education plan. States will be funded to form a commission to protect child rights.

Under the entire education campaign, more emphasis will be laid on vocational education for children. Children in Std. 6 to 8 will be introduced to various skills, while children in Std. 9 to 12 will be focused on the skills of their interest.
