✅ STEP :- 1 Check account balance via SMS

Your mobile number needs to be registered with UAN to know PF balance through message. To check EPF balance via SMS, you will have to send a message to 7738299899 by typing EPFOHO UAN ENG in the message from the registered mobile number. Here are the first three characters of ENG in which language you need information. The messaging facility is also available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.

✅ STEP :- 2 Check balance with missed call

Your mobile number needs to be registered with UAN to check EPF Balance by Missed Call. You can know the EPF Balance by making a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile. After making a missed call, an EPF message will be sent to your registered number, from which you will get EPF Balance information. The message has to state PF Number, Name, Date of Birth, EPF Balance along with last deposit amount.

✅STEP :- 3 Check the balance this way from Umang app

Open your Umang app and click on EPFO. You will have to click on Employee-centric services on another page. Click on View Passbook here. Enter your UAN number and password (OTP). OTP will come to your registered mobile number. You can then check your PF balance.

   Click on e-passbook on EPFO's website epfindia.gov.in Clicking on e-passbook will bring up a new page on passbook.epfindia.gov.in. Here you have to enter your username (UAN number), password and captcha. After filling all the details, a new page will open and you have to select the member ID here. Here you will find your EPF balance on the e-passbook.
