Mass Reading: A New Experiment to Improve Reading Habits in Online Education
Pune LPD School Std. 950 students from 9th to 12th class read for 2 hours periodically
For the past two years, Korona has been following the path of online education, giving students the habit of reading. So that the students get in the habit of re-reading. P. D. Patel Public School has conducted a new experiment. Principal Vijay Patel has organized a group reading program on Fridays and Saturdays. In it std. 950 students from 9th to 12th class are placed on the school campus for two hours reading along with social distance observance.
L. P. D School Principal Vijay Patel said that along with textbooks, students are also given books like Ramakrishna Math, Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Divadandi, Aaj Sudhare Aavikal and What We Can Be for reading. Thus, such books also inculcate values and ideas in the students. Students are shown the BAPS 'Let's Be Ideal!' Dialogue.
