 As part of the development of various skills like painting skills, literary skills, instrument playing skills etc. by the State Government, various arts and talents in students can be inspired and encouraged and talented students can be guided under the program "Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav" under the program "Har Ghar". As part of the "Tiranga" programme, drawing competition, children's competition, music (singing and playing) are organized in each district starting from the school level with the coordination of the Diet, Principal, DPEO, Governor and DEO at the district level. Consider the following instructions and the duration of the competition involved. District level is asked to make necessary arrangements. 1) In all Government, Grant-in-Aid and Independent Higher Primary and Middle-Higher Secondary Schools in the State various competitions in Art Festivals as part of "Har Ghar Tiranga" program under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program like painting, Organization of Balakavi Sammelan, Sangeet Sammelan (Singing and Instrumental) will have to be made mandatory. about



School level competition: First of all school level will have to organize drawing, children's, music (singing and playing) competition to be held under Kala Utsav. First, second and third place contestants are to be selected at the school level and out of that only the first place winner from each section will enter the CRC/ UDC. will be sent for level competition, 4) Cluster / Du.D.C. Level Competition Cluster / Q.D.C. Based on the entries of the first rank contestants for various competitions from the schools held at the level, the first, second and third rank contestants shall be selected and out of them only the entry of the first rank winner from each division will be held in Taluka / SVS. 5) Taluka / S.V.S. Level Competition: Based on the entries of the first rank contestants for various competitions held at the Taluka level from the cluster / UDC, the first, second and third rank contestants shall be selected and among them only the first rank winning contestant entries from each division will be entered at the district level. To be sent for competition, coordination of taluka level competition will be done by Taluka Primary Education Officer, B.R.C. CO and SVS will stay with the convener.


6) District Level Competition : District level shall select the first, second and third place contestants from among the entries of the first place contestants for various competitions from Taluka level/SVS and among them only the first place winner from each division. Contestant's entry has to be sent for the state level competition. District level competition will be conducted by Diet.


The district level has to select a well-known painter of the district. For Poet Competition- Knowledgeable literature teacher retired teacher or other related knowledgeable person / taluka know-how at taluka level and well-known literary poet of the district at district level should be selected.


For Music Competition – Knowledge of music (singing and playing).


A teacher/retired teacher or other knowledgeable person in this regard/taluka expert at taluka level and well-known singer and instrumentalist of the district at district level should be selected. A person has to be included.


14) All District Education Officers, District Primary Education Officers and Principals of District Education and Training Bhavan must coordinate the work done at the district level to make these competitions successful.

(1) Drawing Competition Necessary Instructions


1. The duration of the competition will be two hours.

3. Competition paper size 12" X 18" will be provided by the organizer to each contestant. Other drawing material other than paper has to be brought by the contestant himself. 4. The decision of the judges shall be final.


10 The duration of the competition will be 1 hour. In this competition, the contestant will be able to compose a favorite poem. 2) The poem should be composed on the spot in Gujarati or Hindi language and presented before the judges.


3) Each contestant will be given a maximum time of 7 minutes to present the poem. 4) Contestant will be present for presentation within 2 minutes after being called otherwise he/she will be disqualified from the competition


The decision of the organizers will be final.


52 Papers of A4 size for the competition will be given to each contestant by the organizer. Non-paper


Other equipment material has to be brought by the competitor himself.


(3) Necessary instructions for music singing competition


1) Each contestant will be given 5 minutes to present a theme based song.


2) The contestant has to arrange the instrumentalist himself.


3) Contestant's attire will not be considered during singing. 4) Contestants may not use pre-recorded music during the competition.


1) The contestant will have to perform folk music using classical instruments for which the contestant will be given 5 minutes time.


2) The contestant has to perform any one of the musical instruments given in Primary Section, Secondary Section and Higher Secondary Section,


3) It is essential that the style of the music, rhythm and cadence are maintained in the style of playing. 4) Competitors have to bring musical instruments, they will not be provided by the organizer.


5) Contestant will appear for the presentation within 2 minutes after the call, failing which he/she will be disqualified from the competition, the decision of the organizers will be final.

6) Selection order shall be given to the three best players determined from among the contestants playing different instruments in Vadan competition.

7) Costumes will not be considered in the presentation of folk instruments.

8) Each competitor may take an assistant for arranging the instruments for which 5 minutes will be given and this time will be counted as arranging time.

9) The decision of the judges shall be final,
