World Heritage City Ahmedabad, included in TIME Magazine's list of 'World's 50 Best Places'
Known for its natural beauty, Ahmedabad in Gujarat and the city in Kerala have been named in the world famous Time magazine. Ahmedabad and Kerala have been named in Time magazine's list of '50 best places to look in on in the world' for the year 2022. Time magazine said on Tuesday, 'Amidst the current challenges in the world, even in the year 2022, the link between travel and human relations can be understood. Most of the world's population is now vaccinated and travelers from around the world are ready to travel. In such a situation, the hospitality industry is ready to resume and welcome everyone.'
Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the countrymen for including India's first UNESCO World Heritage City, Ahmedabad, in Time magazine's list of "World's 50 Best Places in 2022". Shah attributed this achievement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "This is the result of the substructure laid to build world class framework in Gujarat under the leadership of Narendra Modi since 2001," he wrote in a tweet.
Be it the Sabarmati river front or the 'Science City' in Ahmedabad, Modi always highlight on building advanced framework and making India "future ready", Shah said.

Kerala also involved in the list of 'best places' in the world
It is noteworthy that Time magazine has included India's Ahmedabad and Kerala state in the list of 'best places' in the world in the year 2022. Both these places have been selected as '50 Extraordinary Places to Visit'. The magazine said that Ahmedabad, India's first UNESCO World Heritage city, has both ancient and modern innovations, making it a hub for cultural tourism.
