One more App and website banned in India, users will have trouble watching videos

Many reports have revealed that VLC media player has been banned by the government under the IT Act 2000. Importantly, opening the VLC media website is showing a message of prohibition under the IT Act.

VLC media player stopped working in India 

Which means that no one in India can access the platform for any work. Famous media player software and streaming media server VLC Media Player has stopped working in the India. According to a report by MediaName, the VLC player developed by the VideoLAN project was blocked in India two months ago. But neither the Indian government nor the company shared any details about the ban. Several reports have revealed that VLC media player has been banned by the government under the IT Act 2000. 

Blocked on Vodafone-Idea and every other major ISP 

It is said that VLC media player is blocked on every major ISP including ACT Fibernet, Vodafone-Idea and others. Currently the Indian government has blocked the Indian edition of PUBG Mobile BGMI in India and it has been removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Too soon, the government has also blocked hundreds of Chinese apps, along with PUBG Mobile, TikTok, CamScanner.
