 India leads US-China in Corona Vaccination race, surpassing 85

The largest corona vaccination campaign in India started on 16 December 2020 and 100 million doses have been given in just 85 days. This figure is much higher than countries like America and China.


Corona vaccination campaigns are being carried out in many countries around the world, including India, to protect people from the deadly Coronavirus epidemic. But India has overtaken the US and China in this race.

Use of 100 million vaccines in 85 days

The Union Ministry of Health on Saturday tweeted, "More than 100 million doses of vaccine have been given in India in just 85 days. While only 92 million doses have been given in the US and 6.14 million in China. India has surpassed the superpowers of America and China and has become a superpower in terms of vaccination itself.



The figure was 9.78 crore on Friday

According to the PIB, a total of 9,78,71,045 doses of the vaccine have been administered in India till 8 pm on Friday, including 89 lakh 87 thousand 818 health workers who have been given the first dose of the vaccine. While 54 lakh 78,562 health workers have taken the second dose. Thus, 98 lakh 65 thousand 504 frontline workers have been given the first dose and 46,56,236 frontline workers have been given the second dose.


So many people between the ages of 5 and 60 have been vaccinated

So 2,81,30,126 people between the ages of 45 and 59 have taken the first dose of Corona, while 5,79,276 have been given the second dose. So 3,85,92,532 people over the age of 60 have taken the first dose and 15,80,991 people have taken the second dose.

What do the 84-day statistics say?

According to the report, a total of 32,16,949 doses of vaccine have been given across the country till 8 pm on the 84th day of the Covid-19 vaccination. The first dose of the vaccine was given to 28,24,066 beneficiaries and the second dose of the vaccine was given to 3,92,883 health workers and frontline workers. Thus, the total number of doses of the Covid 19 vaccine in the country exceeded 9.78 crores. As a result, on Saturday, April 10, this figure has crossed 10 crores.
