According to RBI's holiday calendar, banks will be closed for more than half of the days in August. There are a total of 18 bank holidays in different states of the country this month due to various festivals.

18 days will not work 
RBI has announced in its list that banks will be closed for several days in August. In addition to the festive holidays this month, if we include the weekly holiday of Sunday along with the second and fourth Saturday, banks will not work for the entire 18 days. 

Online banking services will continue
